The Saddest Book 4 Comments

The saddest book is where at the time of printing the author was alive, but when you are reading it they are dead.

unless it’s the opposite. just finished reading Madeleine St John’s ‘A Stairway To Paradise’ and i was relieved to read the author blurb bio afterward and see that she can’t publish another book like it. coz she’d dead.

I disagree. I think the saddest books are the ones that never get finished. The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams is one of the most depressing things I’ve ever read.
